Korean violonist Soo-Hyun Park was unanimously awarded the Prix Groupe Edmond de Rothschild and will be recording her debut CD with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland Pfalz, directed by Nicholas Milton in september 2012

The 12th annual Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad festival, sponsored since its inception by Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild, will be held from 27 January to 4 February 2012. This year will give pride of place to renowned violonists such as Vadim Repin, Antje Weithaas, Jana Kuss and Alexandra Soumm.

Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild has signed a three-year contract to become main sponsor of the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix, an endorsement based on shared values such as innovation and a passion for craftsmanship, teamwork and excellence. The Grand Prix brings together all the big names in watchmaking and is a highlight of life in Geneva.

The Edmond de Rothschild Group and Pierre Corthay, a contemporary bootmaker, organised the first Excellence Run event from 10 to 14 July 2011, designed as a unique kind of road rally celebrating excellence and paying homage to skilled craftspeople.

A successful first annual Megève CSI*** (Concours de Saut International) Show Jumping Competition - Edmond de Rothschild Group, held from 27 to 31 July 2011. The event, under the patronage of Olympic medal winner Pierre Durand (Seoul 1988), boasted both a large crowd in attendance and a top-flight competition.
