Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners signed the
United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI) in May 2012. The six United Nations principles seek to attune investment professionals to major social issues by encouraging companies to adopt better environmental, social and governance practices (ESG).
In concrete terms, we are committed to systematically integrating environmental, social and corporate governance issues in:
our investment criteria. We have introduced fifteen simple indicators such as operational procedures for corporate governance organs, policy on equal opportunities and diversity and measures to reduce a company’s environmental footprint.
our role as a professional shareholder. This means identifying opportunities in our holdings, areas where there is room for improvement and assisting companies throughout the investment period in their efforts to move forward.
in our annual reporting procedures. Every effort is made to produce high quality, transparent reports which give precise details of company initiatives and the progress each holding has achieved.
