The Edmond de Rothschild Group has 4 teams competing in 2016, one of which will be flying the colours of the Fondation OPEJ – Baron Edmond de Rothschild for the protection of children and young people.
From the Grand Palais to the Croisette
The 25th edition of the Tour Auto Optic 2000 will start on Monday, 18 April 2016, with an exhibition at the Grand Palais of the cars entering the competition.
This year, the participants will drive through the towns of South-eastern France. The route has particular significance for the Edmond de Rothschild group, which has a presence in the region with its local teams in Lyon and Marseille. They will be participating in the Beaune, Lyon, Valence and Marseille stages of the event and also in Cannes where the circuit ends.

The Group will be entering 4 teams this year:
a team supporting the Fondation OPEJ – Baron Edmond de Rothschild: Pierre Le Gloahec and Ombeline de Clermont-Tonnerre, piloting the legendary 1959 Jaguar MK1
a team composed of Geneva and Paris Group representatives: Jean Laurent-Bellue and Edouard Herbo, piloting a 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia TI Super
a team of private bankers from Bordeaux: Nicolas Pagano and Michaël Coulardeau, piloting a 1968 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV
a Spanish team: Luis Delso and Carlos de Miguel, piloting a 1957 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint
