Appointments at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management

Kris Deblander is appointed Deputy Chief Investment Officer Corporate Debts & Equities. David Gaud is appointed Head of Emerging Equities.

Kris Deblander is appointed Deputy Chief Investment Officer Corporate Debts & Equities

In addition to his current role as Head of Corporate Debts, Kris will be in charge of consolidating the research, analyses and securities selection between the Corporate Debts and Equities teams. 

Kris joined Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (France) in November 2008 as Head of Convertible Management. He was named Head of Corporate Debts on January 1st, 2013.

Kris Deblander graduated as an engineer from Solvay Business School. He began his career at Fortis IM in Brussels, as Research and Product Development Officer, from 1997 to 1999; he was then appointed Head of Structured Products until 2002. From 2002 to 2006, he was Portfolio Manager Global Convertible Bonds in Paris and was appointed deputy CIO Convertible Bonds & Head of Hedge Funds in 2006.

David Gaud is appointed Head of Emerging Equities

David joined Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management in June 2006 as Asia Portfolio Manager. In 2010, David joined the Chinese Equities team in Hong Kong, where he held several positions.

David Gaud graduated with a « DESS » from the University of Lyon II. He began his career with the Société Générale – FIMAT Bank Group in Singapore in 1996, successively working as Head of Risk Management, trader on the SIMEX (Singapore International Monetary Exchange) and dealing-desk Manager. He joined HSBC in 1999 as Vice-President, first for CCF Securities Asia and then for HSBC Securities, as Asian Equity & Derivatives sales. He then held similar positions at HSBC London and Deutsche Bank London, before joining Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.
