History

Edmond de Rothschild (Europe) is a subsidiary of Edmond de Rothschild (Suisse) S.A. in Geneva. It contributed to the Group's European expansion by opening offices abroad.

 

1969: Creation of Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild S.A., the first Swiss bank to set up operations in Luxembourg, as a Geneva branch office, in order to receive the fiduciary investments of its clients.

1988: Institutional & Fund Services begin in Luxembourg

2000: Madrid and Lisbon branches open

2002: Tel Aviv representative office opens

2003: Brussels branch opens

2004: Barcelona branch opens

2007: Two regional branches open in Belgium, in Liège and Antwerp

2014: A single name: Edmond de Rothschild (Europe)
