GITANAA TRADITION OF INNOVATION

PUSHING BACK THE BOUNDARIES

Ever since the beginning of the Gitana saga in 1876, on the shores of Lake Geneva, the Rothschild family has always sought to extend the limits of sailing. This unwavering desire for excellence is embodied today by the Gitana Team, where the expertise of architects, engineers, experts in composite materials, hydraulics and computing combine with the talent of the greatest sailors to take on the most demanding sporting, human and technological challenges.

IMAGINING AND CREATING THE FUTURE

At the cutting edge of technology, the Gitana Team invests in R&D every year, making this passion a true example of innovation for the Group. The latest boat to date, the Maxi Edmond de Rothschild is the first maxi-multihull ocean racer, designed for ocean-going sailing.
