Dear clients, partners and friends,

My husband Benjamin had a real passion for sailing, which his father had introduced to him as a child. He used to say that sailing revealed the truth about people: in the face of wild elements, risks and the unexpected, characters reveal themselves. This is why he created the Gitana Team in 2001, bringing this passion into the third millennium with multihulls and, today, transatlantic flying boats.

In his personal life, Benjamin never ceased to aspire to authenticity and to anticipate the future. In his life as a business leader, he did exactly the same, helping us to overcome crises and transformations.

As we move into 2022, I would like us to remember the great life lesson he offered. A lesson of passion, boldness, high standards and a long-term vision. A lesson grounded in strong convictions, forged in part by his sailing experience: there can be no success without a team where everyone is involved in the victory for all.

My husband always said that he wanted to leave behind a different and more generous world for his children and for future generations. More than ever, these values must remain our compass, at a time when the social and economic effects of the pandemic remain uncertain, and add to the challenges we already face, first and foremost the challenge of climate and inequality.

I would like to wish you and your loved ones my very best wishes for the New Year.
