PSD2 and Portal API for Authorized Third Parties
The PSD2 Directive introduced by the European Union, and transposed into Belgian law by a law of 11 March 2018, defines a secure framework for sharing customer data and allows authorised third parties (hereinafter referred to as "TPPs" or "Third Party Providers") to provide payment services and access to payment accounts, subject to the prior consent of the customer.
These exchanges of information between the various actors are carried out using APIs (i.e. "Application Programming Interfaces"). In the context of the implementation of PSD2, Edmond de Rothschild (Europe) proposes to interested Third Party Providers to test these APIs on a test environment.
If you are a third party approved by the BNB-NBB (Banque Nationale de Belgique-National Bank van België), you will find the necessary information by clicking on the link.
