A versatile, highly experienced and complementary team

The Edmond de Rothschild Equity Strategies (ERES) team has an average of 18 years of professional experience, primarily in investment, combining highly complementary skills (M&A, audit/transaction services, asset management). It has invested approximately €775 million in over 70 transactions and has enjoyed great stability with an average tenure of 12 years within the Edmond de Rothschild Group. In addition, the team will invest significantly alongside the Edmond de Rothschild Group.​



Jean-François started his career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Co up until 1996. He worked with the DSP investment fund in Philadelphia (USA), then joined Vestar Capital Partners in Paris in 2001, where he assumed several positions before heading these offices until 2012. Jean-François participated in numerous operations at DSP’s and Vestar’s. More particularly, he lead investments in SAB Wabco (2002) and AZ Electronic Materials (2007). He was Member of the Board of SAB Wabco from 2002 to 2004 and of AZ Electronic Materials from 2007 to 2011, after its listing on the London Stock Exchange.

Jean-François Félix is a graduate of HEC Paris and Harvard Business School (MBA). He is also a member of the SFAF (Société Française d’Analyse Financière – French Financial Analysis Society).



Jérémie has 15 years’ experience in Private Equity and M&A within the Edmond de Rothschild Group, during which he participated in more than 40 investments at the holding company level, and in all the investments of ERES and ERES II.

Jérémie graduated from HEC Paris and holds a Masters in Business Law.​aire d'une maîtrise de Droit des Affaires.


After working in M&A at HSBC and later at Goldman Sachs, Laure joined the Edmond de Rothschild Group in 2009 and since then has been involved in investments at the holding company level, as well as for ERES and ERES II.

Laure graduated from HEC Paris and holds an LLM from the University of Munich as well as a Masters in Business Law from the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas.




Maxence worked for 7 year as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and Citigroup in London and in Paris. He then joined the Boston Consulting Group and assisted companies in their strategic due diligences. Within the Edmond de Rothschild Group, Maxence worked as a manager of the Fonds Strategique de Participations prior to joining ERES.

Maxence is graduated from Institut des Sciences Politiques de Paris and from Université Paris Dauphine.


Vice President

Vincen​t started his career in mergers & acquisitions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he advised corporate clients and financial sponsors in buyside, sellside and merger transactions, in sectors such as aerospace, defense, transportation and infrastructure. He then joined ADIA (Abu Dhabi Investment Authority) in 2012 in the Private Equity Principal Investments team, where he was involved in deals in various sectors and geographies, including Asia, Latin America and the US. Vincent has been a member of the ERES investment team since July 2016.

Vincent graduated from EM Lyon business school with a Master Degree in Science of Management (Major in corporate finance). ​


Senior Advisor

After founding and leading the Private Banking and Asset Management team for the Southeast Asian markets for Crédit Agricole in Hong Kong, Samuel joined the Edmond de Rothschild Group in 1992 and in 1997, became CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.
From 1997 to 2011, he was also Managing Director of the French holding company of the Benjamin de Rothschild family. Former Member of the Management Board of Edmond de Rothschild Banque and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management from 2002 to 2009, Samuel is founder and member of the Management Board of the ERES and ERES II funds.

Samuel graduated from HEC Paris.




Mariem worked for 3 years as an Associate at Accuracy where she assisted companies in their financial due diligence, in sectors such as retail, aerospace and energy. Her other previous experiences include internships notably in private equity at Astorg.

She has been a member of the ERES investment team since July 2017.

Mariem graduated from ESCP Europe Business School with a Master In Management (Major in corporate finance).


Directeur Administratif et Financier 

After having started his career in audit at Arthur Andersen, in 1995, Eric joined Edmond de Rothschild France within the Internal Inspection department and then held various positions in the finance department. In 2008, he became Chief Financial Officer of the French holding company of the Edmond de Rothschild Group. Today, he is CFO of the ERES funds.

Eric is a graduate of HEC Paris (Executive MBA) and holds a Masters in Banking and Finance from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
