Nautor’s Swan has 50 years of experience building top-quality yachts that are fast, elegant and safe, as well as organising high-level sailing competitions all around the world.
The Edmond de Rothschild Group, which is currently celebrating its 140-year association with yachts and yacht racing with a travelling exhibition and a book. Through its partnership with Nautor’s Swan, it is continuing the passion that its founder Edmond de Rothschild had for these elegant monohull vessels.
The partnership will cover various competitions to be held in 2017, such as the Nations Trophy (Palma de Mallorca), the Swan European Regatta (Isle of Wight), the Giraglia Rolex Cup (Saint Tropez), the Copa del Rey (Palma de Mallorca) and the Voiles de Saint Tropez, in which the Edmond de Rothschild Group has been a partner since 2014.
Ariane de Rothschild, Chairwoman of the Edmond de Rothschild Group's Executive Committee, said "I am delighted that we are joining forces with Nautor’s Swan, which shares our values of expertise, precision, elegance and competition. With this partnership, I am maintaining the passion that my father-in-law had for these boats and their era-defining style and performance. We regularly sail on the famous Gitana VI yacht, which was built in 1975 by Olin Stephens, who alongside German Frers is a key figure in yachting history. Their names are intricately linked with the history of Nautor's Swan."
