Arnaud Petit is the Managing Director of Edmond de Rothschild Corporate Finance and has nearly 20 years' experience in Mergers & Acquisitions advisory. He joined Edmond de Rothschild at the end of 2014.
Prior to joining Edmond de Rothschild, he was a Director at Rothschild & Cie in Financial Affairs, an activity dedicated to Mergers & Acquisitions advisory in the segment of large transactions (over €1bn).
Arnaud began his career at Lazard in Financial Affairs. He has worked in a wide range of sectors, including the airline industry (Air France KLM merger) and the aerospace industry (transaction involving the transfer of Alcatel's Transport and Space activities to Thalès). In 2007, he joined the French office of Lehman Brothers, which became Nomura in 2009. In 2010, he joined the Financial Affairs team at Rothschild & Cie as Deputy Director. During his 5 years in Financial Affairs, he worked in particular on the Utilities sector (merger between GDF SUEZ and International Power, purchase of International Power's minority shareholders) and the construction materials sector (merger between Lafarge and Holcim and sale of Etanco to 3i).
In addition to his professional activities as an investment banker, Arnaud has taught finance courses (in-depth M&A and financial analysis) at Sciences Po Paris as part of the Strategy and Finance Major (2008 - 2015) and at ESCP.
Arnaud Petit graduated from ESCP in 2004 with a major in Finance.
