Our ecosystem.

We are rooted in an ecosystem of interactions between humans, animals, plants, minerals, water, air, fire, places, businesses, builders, farmers, creators, financiers, the past, the present, and the future. Creativity, cross-pollination, and high standards are its lifeblood.
Our roots grow and thrive in this world.

When the audacious create,
a world is born.

At Edmond de Rothschild, we admire those who dare because they often provide insightful answers to the most important questions of our era. We like to say that “the world goes where the audacious lead it” because their forward thinking is deliberate, never haphazard, the result of a process has brought them to where they are today. Everything they do is a source of optimism, and this helps usher in new worlds that create progress in our society. Our role lies in identifying and integrating them into our ecosystem. We provide an environment where their creativity flourishes, for the benefit of all.

Driven by
innovation

When you use the horizon to measure distances, you define your limits outside any preconceived notions.

At Gitana, since 1876, audacious individuals have carried on the legacy of its inventors, breaking the rules and writing the pages of a legendary sailing history.

Sailors, architects, engineers, and experts in composite materials, hydraulics, and IT make Gitana a laboratory for technological innovation day in and day out, where ideas meet and coalesce, benefiting from each person’s talents.

This never-ending quest is sustained by a formidable team spirit and the desire to outdo oneself, qualities that have always given birth to the most revolutionary projects. The advent of foiling vessels in offshore racing initiated by Gitana in 2017 is a prime example of this.

Our commitment to
Philanthropy

Giving is at the very heart of what we do at Edmond de Rothschild.

Edmond de Rothschild’s Family Philanthropy embodies specific values deeply embedded in the family’s heritage which help to inspire and impel the transformations of tomorrow.

The Edmond de Rothschild Family Philanthropy encompasses artistic donations, educational, social, and scientific undertakings initiated or supported by members of the family across the generations. While these gifts have taken various forms over the years, their underlying spirit of generosity remains anchored in common values and the shared belief that talent and change-makers can transform the world for the better. The family’s philanthropy testifies to its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and care for all.

Today, the operational foundations, including OPEJ, which specializes in child protection, HFAR, the hospital of reference for head and neck treatment, and Edmond de Rothschild Partnerships, which provides leadership programs for youth, are joined by grant-making foundations that focus on innovative, transformative initiatives for the benefit of current and future generations.

A House like
no other

For over a century, Maison Caron has been driven by a singular vision of beauty: infinite, magnificently excessive beauty is created through explosive encounters. Caron knows what worlds can create when they are allowed to converge. The ordinary will only produce the ordinary if it encounters nothing but the ordinary. Assembling exceptional materials freely and with flair, orchestrating their meeting and mingling to reveal their exuberant richness, sharing them with the world, and rejecting stylistic uniformity—this is the signature of Caron perfumes.

This journey into the realm of the senses and the imagination often culminates in coming face to face with oneself. Changing the world requires knowing oneself. Setting off on this journey is a noble pursuit.
