Edmond de Rothschild announces the opening of an office in the Ghent region, its third location in Belgium, consolidating its strategy of expanding in regions with high economic potential.
A STRATEGIC LOCATION IN FLANDERS
By establishing itself in the Ghent region and opening a third office, Edmond de Rothschild is bolstering its position in Belgium, where it has had a presence since 2003.
Our decision to open a second office in Flanders is driven by our ambition to play a more prominent role in the region and will help us foster closer relationships with clients and local networks while supporting our recruitment targets.
The full range of services offered by the Group will be available through the Sint-Martens-Latem office: end-to-end asset allocation services combining liquid and illiquid investments (private equity and real estate) as well as succession planning and a broad range of expertise, notably in corporate finance.
A SEASONED TEAM WITH STRONG ROOTS IN THE REGION
The Ghent office is overseen by Hans Valcke, Senior Private Banker, supported by an experienced team consisting of Véronique Monteyne and Sabine Somers, both Senior Private Bankers, and Niels Meeussen, Private Banker. To strengthen and diversify its local expertise, the team will also be supported by Frank Vranken, Chief Strategist for Belgium, and Jo Matthieu, Asset Management Advisor.
