Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management is adding a new investment expertise to its existing capability with the recruitment of an active management quant team. Headed by industry veteran Bruno Taillardat, it includes senior quant portfolio managers, Xavier Marconnet and Frédéric Girod, who will be joined by 2 quantitative portfolio managers and a quant research analyst.

Edmond de Rothschild has appointed David Claus as CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management Luxembourg* and Group Head of the Asset Servicing business line.

•    H1 2025: major political issues, but no significant impact on market performance, apart from occasional volatility.
•    Points to watch for investors in the second half of the year: geopolitical risk, trade tensions and the US public deficit. 
•    Allocation point: slight underweighting of equities - particularly US equities - and of the dollar. On the bond side, avoid long-dated bonds, as the risk of recession remains moderate.

Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) a nommé Klaus Schmitz au poste de Chief Investment Officer Europe et Executive Chairman de Edmond de Rothschild REIM UK, à compter du 1er septembre 2025.

Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management (REIM), through one of its pan-European strategies, and UNIQ Residential have reinforced their successful relationship with a new residential development in Barcelona, specifically in the area of Plaza de las Glòrìes, in the neighbourhood of Poblenou.

This marks the latest collaboration between the two companies, following their previous development, Casa Maury Pares on Calle Mallorca, which included 22 residential properties and a 104-bed senior living development, in central Barcelona.

Edmond de Rothschild announces the appointment of Eric de Tessières as Group Chief Sustainability Officer. Reporting to Cynthia Tobiano, Deputy CEO, Eric took up his post on 7 April. He will oversee all of the group’s sustainability initiatives, across asset management and private banking.

and security system services, on the sale of a majority stake to Charterhouse.

The UK and EU need 15-20 million homes, equating to c. 2000 square kilometres of mixed-use living and workspace, over the next 15 years.    

Across the EU and the UK, regenerating only a part of the 19,000 km² of underused brownfield land and 300km² of vacant or under-utilised office space can meet the region’s housing and commercial space needs.    

This regeneration requires €4 trillion of investment, creating opportunities for investors.
